I was in Kihei last week, Jawz's very close to another famous restaurant Stella Blues. I am not a " taco" fan, so I ordered a island style grill rib, that turn out to be "my best rib ever", and it only cost me $12, the other day I tried to go back to order the same thing around 8pm, the rib already sold out, so we try something else.The way Jawz cook "Ono"( one Hawaii fish) is so much better than Stella Blues, but the price is only 1/3 of other expensive restaurant, I wish I could go back more, I can use local price to enjoy expensive restaurant's food, it feels great!!!Jawz is the year of the local "Gold" we found this year.

Forgot to mention how big portion it is, 2 people can share 1 salad.

I am still sad in my last day in Kihei, I don't have my rib because it's sold out.><

The following picture remind me of the beef sandwich I had in Hearst Castle.

We woke up in 2 AM and get all the winter clothes.  jacket. swether. scarf...

We left around 3 AM, and spend 1 and half hour drove from Kihey to Haleakala.

When we went to 10,000 ft, it's around 4:30 AM.

Haleakala National Park  's entrance fee is $10 per car.

The Sunrise time was 6:22, so we need to wait for the first beam of the light.

Almost all our friends suggest us "Roy's" is one of the best restaurant in Maui, everyone...telling us the same thing, so here we are.

We went to the one in Kahana, it was great experience.

The crab is delicious, and the sauce is great!!!

Miso fish is tender and so fresh, now we understand why people love it.

We ordered a upsidedown pineapple cake as dessert,  the hot cake with the icy icecream taste wonderful.

According to the local, Halloween is the biggest even in Maui.

So we went to Lahaina Front street to see the parade,

it's fun.

Everone is asking the same question, "where is the entrance of the waterfall?" "Did you see the waterfall?"

According to local people, waterfall is in mile 11, but we miss it, then after mile 12, we already went into Garden of eden.

On our way back, we are more alert about it, we don't want to miss it, ... and we found it, it's so pretty.

We stop at the bridge between mile 11 to mile 12.

The fun part of Hana is just like playing treasure hunt, there are so many places for you to stop and seen.

The most diffult part is about finding the waterfall. During our trip, you can hear people ask about each other "Did you see the water fall?"

Hana is all like winding mountain road, that makes me car sick ,that's why we stop here  to take a rest.

I am the person who's afraid of height, but I was enjoy parasailing so much that I feel like a bird. 

Some one will shoot your pictures from the boat , and the price is $30 with a digital memory card, you can either buy or nor not buy.

Check it up, we have packs dolphins follow our boat.

We book our snorkeling trip on the 2nd day in our Maui trip, using the company Quicksilver.

We swim with lots of fish, it's really fun.

Maui is a small island but the transit is not so convenient.

So better rent a car to go everywhere.

Haleakala: 1 hr, 50 min

The traffic between Honolulu to other island is actually very convenient, so even if you only can find cheaper tickets to Honolulu, you can always buy tickets from Honolulu to other island.

So I book a ticket from Honolulu to Maui, it's only cost me $100, and I could choose the time, there are many flights in one day.

The airline I used in Hawaii was Hawaiian airline.

The time I went was Oct 27 to Nov 5, Maui's low season, $75/night (before tax), according to the sales, I got 50% off discount.
